The just-released release trailer begins with a haunting dream sequence where the sea turns red, leading to a colossal battle between rival troops in the ocean. It showcases high-octane action sequences, featuring Jr NTR in a gripping confrontation. Bhaira (Saif Ali Khan) has unleashed a god-like monster in the mountains to challenge the divine force of the sea. The narrative sets the stage for the two incarnations of Taraka —Devara and Vara— as they confront the question of courage: the will to fight versus the instinct to survive.

Amidst the intense action, the trailer offers a glimpse of a light-hearted dance number, providing a refreshing contrast to the thrilling scenes. With this release trailer, anticipation for Devara has only intensified, and we can’t wait to immerse ourselves in its world.

About Devara

Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. It stars Jr NTR in a dual role alongside Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. The actioner also features Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and Narain in supporting roles. The film will release in theatres on September 27, 2024.
